RESPONDING TO RICHARD CONFERENCE
Thistle (Park) Hotel, Cardiff, 23 April 2004
The Richard Commission recommendations will
be debated at a conference at the Thistle Hotel in Cardiff
on Friday 23 April, being organised by the IWA in association
with the ESRC programme on Devolution and Constitutional Change.
Lord Richard himself will speak at the conference
which is also being addressed by constitutional and other
experts. These include Professor Charlie Jeffery, Director
of the ESRC Programme, Alan Trench, of the Constitution Unit
at University College, London, Professor Laura McAllister,
of Liverpool University, Professor Kevin Morgan of Cardiff
University, and Richard Wyn Jones, Director of the Institute
of Welsh Politics. Also taking part will be Gareth Thomas,
MP for Clwyd West and AMs Leighton Andrews, Mike German, Helen
Mary Jones and Glyn Davies.

Conference plus lunch, with Lord Richard
as guest speaker: £50
