The Equal Opportunities Commission is
pleased to submit the attached paper to the Commission
on the Powers of the National Assembly for Wales. We
attach a series of Responses to the Government Consultation
on the Establishment of a Single Equality Body in Great
Britain, which highlight points which I feel sure will
be of interest to your Commission, as they illustrate
how equality legislation is primarily a reserved function
but has devolved elements.
