Whilst I have limited knowledge of the workings of the Assembly and do not feel able to comment constructively on the questions proposed I do wish to make the following comments.

The Assembly came into being with a very small majority and low voting level and the latest election the poor level of interest and wish to vote despite additional publicity on all forms of media was mirrored

This really raises a question about who wants the assembly to continue and those who are apathetic and do not support the assembly are unlikely to turn up at the open meeting.

If the Assembly has to remain then it is important that it has all the powers it needs to assist it to work well and for the benefit of the population of Wales.

If more funds are needed for it to function then this will be likely to lead to more disquiet as comments are regularly heard about how the Assembly costs a lot already.

One concern would be for people to know clearly the differences between England Scotland and Wales and the impact of these differences if people move between the countries in the UK.
